Dear Parents and Students,
We would like to take the opportunity to welcome all of our parents and students back for the upcoming year of instrumental music lessons at our centres and in our partner schools. As we enter our 19th year, we are excited to continue to develop our programmes at our centre, in partnership with our friends at the Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children, and in all of our partner schools throughout Dubai.
We are also tremendously excited to open our new location as part of the New Covent Garden development at Mall of the Emirates, which opens today!
This email contains important information about lesson registration and dates of some exciting events that we have planned, details of our existing and new ensembles as well as our Ensembles Open Day happening on Sunday 31st August.
As always if you have any questions please do reach out to our wonderful administration team who will be happy to help, or our outstanding team of instrumental music teachers who are eager to get lessons started in the next few weeks.

Registration
Many of our existing students at the centre and schools have already registered for the term, settled invoices and will shortly receive schedule confirmations. If you have not confirmed your slot or received an invoice, please reach out to the team who will arrange this for you ASAP. Fees are noted below.
Fees
Term 1 Lesson Fees at Centre for Musical Arts at Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children
30 minutes - AED 2850 for 15 individual lessons.
40 minutes - AED 3810 for 15 individual lessons.
60 minutes - AED 5700 for 15 individual lessons.
Term 1 Lesson Fees at Centre for Musical Arts | The Academy at New Covent Garden Mall of the Emirates.
At Centre for Musical Arts | The Academy, we are required to add a small premium location fee due to the costs involved in hosting lessons at this centre. The minimum lesson length at The Academy is 40 minutes.
40 minutes - AED 4005 for 15 individual lessons.
60 minutes - AED 6000 for 15 individual lessons.
Please note our fees are inclusive of 5% VAT
Fees for lessons in partner schools are pro-rated at 10, 12 or 15 weeks.

As CMA heads towards its 20th Anniversary we are proud to introduce Centre for Musical Arts | The Academy. Based at Mall of the Emirates, we are excited to be a part of a new cultural hub in Dubai, and returning to our original home in what was historically DUCTAC. It really is a full circle moment for the organisation, as we return to our roots where we first opened our doors in 2006.
In a strategic partnership with the operators of New Covent Garden, we will be offering lessons from five teaching studios. Our students will gain access to an abundance of opportunities through the redevelopment of the 550 seater theatre, black box theatre, Pineapple Studios Dubai and its associated shows, productions, concerts, masterclasses and events.
Lessons at Centre for Musical Arts | The Academy, located in the Pineapple Dance Studios start on Sunday 24th August. Lessons will be offered seven days per week. Come along and have a look around the next time you are visiting Mall of the Emirates

At CMA we pride ourselves in the successes and achievements of our ensembles. Every year we work to develop the groups we offer, and give students fantastic opportunities. In the last 2 years, CMA Ensembles have performed all across the UAE, with performances at NYU in Abu Dhabi, COP 28 at Expo City Dubai, SIKKA Art and Design Fair, Al Jalila events, not to mention some fabulous showcases at the Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children.
All ensembles at CMA are charged at Dhs 350 per term, per student. We aim to open up our ensembles to as many students as possible. The costs simply cover the purchase of resources, repertoire and logistics for performances as well as polo shirts, or uniforms for concerts. CMA will not charge you any additional fees for your your child's right to perform.
Our ensembles all start on Sunday 31st August, and we are hosting an open day for new participants during the rehearsal times on this day. We look forward to seeing you there! Why don't you bring a friend along?

Our youngest budding musicians have the chance to shine with our all new Music Explorers Club, taking place on Monday afternoons at AJCCC. Run by the fabulous Ms Thivanthi, participants will discover themes of music through song, play and exploration of musical instruments. Aimed at 6 - 8 Year olds, this club. does not require any previous musical knowledge or experience.
We are hosting an open day on Monday 1st September from 3:30pm - 4:30pm, and classes will run at the same time every Monday throughout the term, working towards showcases and performances.

Welcome! To a new year at CMA. We hope that as many of our students as possible are able to take advantage of the exciting opportunities that will come up this year. from ensembles, competitions, recitals, concerts and camps.
