CMA Glee
A true highlight of CMA's Ensemble offerings, CMA Glee is an outstanding ensemble featuring musicians singing together in harmony. In a slight change to previous iterations, the accompanying band for glee will be 100% acoustic, with participants who sing in the ensemble with the ability to double on instruments given the opportunity to showcase those skills.
The CMA Glee, performs a hige range of popular repertoire with songs ranging from 80's classics, right up to modern day hits. Led by the wonderful Ms Renna, this ensemble has performed at the highest profile CMA performances, as well as held their own in external events at venues such as the Sikka Main Stage and Green Planet Dubai to name a few!
Day and Time: Thursdays from 5:40pm - 7:00pm starting on Thursday 4th September
Venue: Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children - Studio 8
Level: ABRSM/ Trinity Classical / Trinity Rock and Pop/ Rock, School Grade 5 and above. (an audition may be required and the ability to read music from lead sheets would be beneficial)
Instruments: Voice (male), Voice (female), Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, Keyboards, Piano, Percussion*
*Drumkit players will be placed on a variety of percussion instruments, and will not necessarily be playing the drumkit in this ensemble.
Cost: Dhs 350 per term.
