CMA Junior Wind Ensemble
The CMA Junior Wind Ensemble continues to be a strong development ground for woodwind, brass, and percussion students. Participants in this ensemble are given the opportunity to perform at CMA Events, such as the Winter Music Festival and Summer Showcase, in addition to this the ensemble participates annually in the Sikka Art and Design fair and collaborates with the CMA Junior String Ensemble in order to form the CMA Orchestra.
Day and Time: Sundays from 11:45am - 1:15pm starting on Sunday 31st August
Venue: Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children - Multi Purpose Room
Level: ABRSM/ Trinity Grade 1 - Grade 5 or equivalent.
Instruments: Woodwind (Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone) Brass (French Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, Baritone, Tuba) Percussion (Xylophone, Glockenspiel, Drumkit*, Timpani) *Drumkit players will be placed on a variety of percussion instruments, and will not necessarily be playing the drumkit in this ensemble.
Cost: Dhs 350 per term.
