1. Events & Music Activities Coordinator (Part-time or Full-time) February 2025
Centre for Musical Arts (CMA) is seeking to appoint a well-qualified, flexible and enthusiastic person to join their team in February 2025. This role supports the delivery of our growing and varied portfolio of events including workshops and musical activities with children and young people at our centre and within the community across Dubai.
The Events and Music Activities Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all CMA in-house and external events with the exception of school events. These include masterclasses, workshops, holiday camps, all in-house music recitals, the annual CMA Young Musician Competitions, End of Term concerts and external events such as SIKKA.
Requirements
The successful candidate will:
Hold a passion for music education and the creative arts
Have an excellent understanding of event planning,
Experience working with/in community platforms
Experience with and a desire to help young people
Be very well organised, highly motivated and a team player
Be an outstanding communicator and have exceptional English speaking and writing skills.
Have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with an exceptional attention to detail.
Have the ability to work patiently and confidently under pressure and as part of a diverse team of staff, musicians and community partners
Have a valid UAE driving license
Be IT literate / knowledge of Google Drive
Desirable
Arabic and/or additional languages
Is a musician
Allowances & Benefits
Visa, tax free monthly salary of Dhs 12,000 + private medical insurance, 5 weeks annual paid leave.

INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC TEACHING SPECIALISTS
1. Piano Specialist (Full-time) January 2025
2. Guitar Specialist (Full-time) January 2025
Centre for Musical Arts (CMA) is seeking to appoint well-qualified, flexible and enthusiastic Instrumental Specialists in the above roles to join their team with an immediate start.
CMA offers one to one private instrumental lessons at their Centre based in the Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children and a peripatetic music service to over 40 schools. We are seeking candidates with a proven track record of teaching their main instrument. The ability to teach other/multiple instruments will be highly considered.
The successful candidate will:
Have experience teaching within a British School/Music Service
Hold a Music Degree in Performance & Teaching or equivalent
Have excellent knowledge of music exams (ABRSM, Trinity) and Music Theory
Experience with ensembles or youth orchestra.
Be very well organised, highly motivated and a team player
Be an excellent communicator and have good English speaking and writing skills
Have a love for your instrument and be passionate about music
Desirable:
Holder of a driving licence
Knowledge of Musical Teaching Software and be IT literate / knowledge of Google Drive
Ability to accompany your students on piano will be highly considered
Ability to teach a second instrument and/or piano
Allowances & Benefits:
For a full-time contract
Visa, tax free monthly salary of Dhs 8,000 + commission (up to Dhs 16,000), private medical insurance, 6 weeks annual paid leave.
