Designed for students at the beginning of their musical journey, the CMA Beginner Ensemble offers a first experience of group music-making. It welcomes beginner string, woodwind, brass, percussion and keyboard players who can read basic notation. Repertoire includes accessible arrangements of film themes, songs and classic ensemble music.

 

Level: First five notes for woodwind and brass players; open strings for string players; first five notes and treble-clef reading for keyboard players; and suitable entry-level parts for percussionists. Up to ABRSM/Trinity Grade 1 or equivalent.
