John Gabriel Centeno is a dedicated musician and recent graduate of the AMTB Level 4 Performance Diploma from The Music Teacher's Board. Specialising in drums as his primary instrument, he infuses every performance with energy and precision. In addition to his percussion expertise, he is a versatile multi-instrumentalist, skilled in guitar, ukulele, and most recently, the bass.

Gabriel has had the privilege of receiving rigorous training from some of the world’s top drummers, including Arthur Kam, Michael Alba, and Harald Huyssen. Their influence has helped shape his own distinct approach to both playing and teaching. With a strong commitment to his craft, Gabriel has developed a disciplined yet passionate system for teaching the various instruments in his repertoire.

Gabriel finds joy in both performing and teaching. He frequently participates in bands and ensembles, where he can showcase his musical talents. As a teacher, he is passionate about making learning enjoyable, while also focusing on fundamental exercises and disciplined rudiments to help students reach advanced levels of proficiency.
