Jeanra graduated from the University of Santo Tomas, Conservatory of Music Philippines with the Degree of Bachelor of Music - Music Education, Major in Singing, Minor in Piano. She was a member and soloist of the University of Santo Tomas Singers, the official choir of the University under the skillful hand of Prof. Fidel Calalang. The choir toured around Europe, Asia and the United States of America for Choral Competitions, Concert Performances and Music Festivals. She was also a former vocal coach in the Musical Shows in the Philippines. 

In 2015, she taught Vocals and Piano in Harmony Music School and Brunei International School. She moved to UAE and worked in the Young Musician Music Institute in 2017. In 2018, two of her students received an award from Trinity for topping the Exam all over UAE in Vocals and Piano in their respective grades.

From 2019 until 2024, Jeanra was working as a Vocal/Piano Specialist in International Music Institute, Brighton College Abu Dhabi, and Amity International School. In  2022, her student won first prize in the Singing Intermediate Category in Abu Dhabi Young Musician competition. The following year, her student Hind, won the Vocal Rock n Pop Advanced Category First prize in Abu Dhabi Young Musician Competition. 

Jeanra enjoys teaching across all different genres of music such as Classical, Musical Theater, Rock n Pop, and Jazz for more than 10 years. She plays the Piano, Guitar and Ukulele. 

Her favourite thing about being a music teacher is having the opportunity to share musical knowledge and encourage students to progress and enjoy learning, by using fun learning and performance techniques.

Aside from being a music teacher, she loves to travel and explore the world as she is into outdoor activities. She is also an enthusiast in volunteering, and a nature lover as well.
