Sheba George
Born in India Sheba first came to Dubai in 2003. She has a degree in Economics, Sociology & Political Science and a PG Diploma in Entrepreneurship. An Operations & General management professional with over 30 years of experience heading Administration and HR Departments both in India and Dubai, Sheba has developed and implemented, customized, user friendly Operations, Admin and HR systems.
Being a “Peoples person” lead her to a career in the Operations, HR, Administration, Marketing in 5 different Companies in India and UAE. Prior to joining CMA, she was part of the team involved with the fund raising and setting up of the Dubai Community Theatre & Arts Centre (DUCTAC) in the Mall of the Emirates. Sheba also headed a business actively involved in the pioneering production and marketing of a biotech Nutraceutical product which was used in the Food, Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic industry.
She fully believes that freedom to work, proper & open procedures and effective communication channels, with timely feed-back and follow-up leads to happy employees & clients, which are very crucial for the success of any organization.
Her role as the Director of Administration and Operations at the Centre for Musical Arts has given her the opportunity to work with many talented musicians from all around the world. It has also helped satisfy her genuine passion and interest to meet and work alongside people from diverse cross-generation and cultural backgrounds.
Sheba started with Centre for Musical Arts from Day 1, when doors opened for Music Lessons at the Arts Centre in the Mall of the Emirates in 2006. She left in 2020 to support her family back in India, but we are delighted to be welcoming her back home to CMA this year!
