Hoot and Toot

Hoot and Toot is an annual gathering for woodwind players of all ages and abilities. Students join us for a full day to make lots of noise and improve their playing abilities, before performing to an audience of family and friends at the end of the day. It really is a hoot - past activities have included musical guess who, african drumming, jazz improvisation and Breathing Gym. Students have also benefited from the wisdom of visiting artists James Rae, Roberto Alvarez and Christopher Spencer.

Participation in the Hoot and Toot costs AED100, which includes all musical resources. Players aged 8 and above with at least one term’s experience are welcome to join us. Students are divided into groups by age and ability, to ensure that the materials and activities on the day are suitably challenging and enjoyable.

The next Hoot and Toot takes place on Friday 20th April 2018. If you’d like to find out more, please email workshops@cmadubai.com.
